RaGa Shiksha, founded by Ranjani Gayatri, is an initiative dedicated to nurturing a deeper and more meaningful engagement with Carnatic music.

At its core, the RaGa SHIKSHA seeks to make Carnatic music accessible to everyone, breaking barriers of entry while maintaining the depth and authenticity of the tradition. It aims to create an environment where good music is not only taught but experienced, encouraging students to develop both sensitivity and discernment in their musical journey.

A key focus of RaGa SHIKSHA is on training students in the right delivery and presentation of music. Beyond learning compositions, students are guided to understand how music should be expressed with clarity, aesthetics, and emotional depth. The approach emphasizes not just what to sing, but how to sing it in a way that resonates.

RaGa SHIKSHA also imparts a clear understanding of what defines impactful and successful music.

Through structured guidance and mentorship, students learn to recognize quality, refine their artistry, and work towards achieving a mature and compelling musical voice.
